1. Multiplier characteristics of battery capacity
With the increase of the discharge current, the discharge capacity of the battery will decrease. When the discharge rate is less than 0.33C10, the discharge capacity of the lithium-ion battery is very little affected by the discharge rate, and the discharge capacity is little different. Basically, it can be recognized that the capacity of the battery can be 100% released. FIG. 2 shows the relationship between magnification and constant current discharge voltage and capacity at 20℃.
2. Temperature characteristics of battery capacity
When the ambient temperature is above 0℃, the attenuation rate of battery capacity is slow, but when the ambient temperature is below 0℃, the attenuation rate of battery capacity is faster, and the internal resistance of battery increases sharply with the decrease of temperature
3. Advantages of echelon lithium iron phosphate battery compared with traditional lead acid
1) high temperature resistance: lead acid battery stable working temperature range of 25~28℃, temperature rise will damage the battery, reduce the battery life;
2)High energy density: weight specific energy of lithium iron phosphate battery products can exceed 130Wh/kg(0.2C, 25℃), volume specific energy is 210Wh/L; The weight specific energy of lead-acid battery products is 32 ~ 37Wh/kg(0.2C, 25° C), and the volume specific energy is 70Wh/L.
3)high current charging and discharging performance: lithium iron phosphate battery can be high current 2C fast charging and discharging, starting current up to 5C above, lead-acid battery has no such performance. So the charging time of lithium iron phosphate battery is short;
4) green environmental protection: iron phosphate lithium battery does not contain any heavy metals and rare metals (nickel metal hydride battery requires rare metals), non-toxic (SGS certification); However, there is a large amount of lead in lead-acid batteries, which will cause secondary pollution to the environment if it is not handled properly after waste.
5)the use of step power lithium battery long service life, more cycles, the step after the use of theory can still leave 6 years of actual life and 400~2000 times of actual cycles, compared with the traditional lead-acid battery of 3~6 years of life, 200 times of actual cycles are significantly improved;
6) High temperature resistance is strong, and the lithium battery can be used under the limit condition below 45℃. At present, the temperature limit of lead-acid battery commonly used in communication base stations is only 35℃;
7) good discharge characteristics, high capacity utilization rate when large current discharge;
8) charge and discharge conversion efficiency is high, the energy conversion efficiency of step battery is 10% ~ 15% higher than that of lead-acid battery;
9) small footprint, light weight, low transportation cost, step battery weight and volume of the same capacity of lead acid battery 1 or 2/3.
